people who have used both 911 and g25
I have the 911 wheel, after 10 days it broke and im waiting on a new one, right now im seriously considering selling it and getting a g25.

only things that really stop me, is the way the wheel looks, the nice grip, having less wires, actually, now that i am typing it all down it doesnt seem like much, i feel like ive always regretted getting the 911, and originally the decision was made on the shifter, i thought the g25 shifter was so crappy, but it looks amazing (and now that you can modify it...), anyways, is it worth it to sell my 911 and get a g25? i hate having a wire mess and thats about the only thing keeping me from doing it.

and also, all i play is LFS and the 911 seems to have a problem with that (who knows maybe just a bad wheel) but if i have the same problem with this new wheel i will sell it.

I drift with the rb4 cause im a noob (80% power to the rear) and when drifting in cirlcles (something i like doing and i was doing it to get used to the wheel) the force feedback would kick in the wrong direction and try to rip the wheel from my hand during a nice smooth drift when the car wanted to understeer abit, this caused the motor to burn up and nearly catch on fire.... lets hope that doesnt happen again.

And im strickly trying to get the opinion of people who have used each wheel, because i know you die hard g25 fans are just waiting to scream that your wheel is the best.
cdcdude is one guy that owns both, and he said he prefers the porsche wheel. You can check out videos. online and search here, gtplanet and else where.

I'm a bit annoyed that there's only digitally unsigned drivers for Vista 64-bit right now... (official drivers coming in march?)

Your FFB is clearly too hard. My Logitech Momo would do this too at first because it was not set the right way. Now it has strong FFB but it's still controllable. Anyway you must've been rude as fuck to break it in 10 days.
If by turn in the wrong direction as in try to steer to the outside of the drift, thats perfectly normal behaviour even in a real car, the wheels are going to want to go in the direction of momentum because of caster on the front wheels, this is going to make the steering pull out of the rotation.

They call it either auto return, or caster steer. If it's strong enough to rip the wheel out of your hands you have your FFB WAY to high. Which is why the wheel broke.

Honestly i prefered the G25 (although frankly both are waaaaaay too small).
