If i were to put an Intercooler one of the skins, will it work? do i have to do something special for it to show?

it will show, but it will be 2d, flat on the bonnet

not really, which car are you referring to;
it most likely wont, you cant skin the areas that are black on the car (ei: intakes/outlets)
