How Do I Monitor The Memory Usage Of A Service?
I'm trying to find out how much RAM the service "N360" is using, but Googling has come to little avail.

How can I tell?

Also - is there anywhere else a program can take memory apart from services and processes? I have doubts over a programs claimed memory usage, and while it tallies up in processes, the fact it's installed a service makes me wonder if it's being crafty...
which windows (i'm assuming this is windows)? i hear w7 has this fancy process viewer...

Thanks - "tasklist /fi "services eq N360"" did the job. And yes, it was hiding 9-11MB of memory usage in services...
I don't quite get it, but if you're asking for what I'm thinking, this is an easier way to find out the service's memory usage:

or..

(the Resource Monitor shows very detailed information)

I tried using this command you mentioned but it just didn't work for me - a command box opens and then closes all of a sudden. I can see the services are there, but it closes so fast I can't check any of them.

tasklist /svc also doesn't work.

Run it from the command prompt.

If the box is opening and closing straight away, go to start, run, type cmd and hit enter. an ms-dos style window will open.

Then type your command in there and that should do it.
It works now, thanks.
I was trying to run tasklist straight from the start button search instead of opening cmd, that's why it was closing.

is the 9-11 mb worth the effort... i mean... what or how many programmes run on 9-11 excess memory ?

( excess being the memory not being used by the pc/app obv. )
Think of all the porn that 10 meg could be holding instead.

why would porn need that extra 10 meg of RAM?
