Free Practice: 15 Mins

The nature of these cars and this track promote close racing, but also very large crashes as there is no run-off.
Please can all racers BE CAREFUL during the early stages of the races, when the grid is packed together.

Server will be available for practice races until event start.
i predict carnage can we have a small practice race before the event?
Quote from anttt69 :i predict carnage can we have a small practice race before the event?

we are having 15 min free practive, thats it.
yh maybe half the practise time could be a short 3 lap race

edit: lol ok
Well maybe everyone should just take it easy in T1 then easy for the 1st lap.
It should be fine if we all keep a cool head
Yea, take it easy and keep your reaction on

Server is public for the moment, will be passworded shortly before the event and any randoms booted.
ah ok
UTC is GMT+1?
Quote from oldnavy :UTC is GMT+1?

UTC is GMT.

British time is UTC/GMT+1, West European +2.
There is a very slight chance I may not be there, due to collecting sponsor funds for the Epic Police Pram.

I will try my absoloute best to be there, and inform you ASAP if I know I definitely can't.

Thanks Beano .
Shiiiiit. Missed the start by 10 seconds
#16 - SamH
I desperately need a new machine. I started off the line with 6fps but beginning lap 2, I dropped to about 1fps, clipped the wall and wrote at least myself off, possibly someone else I'm not sure. Stunning rollmeister though. Jack would be proud.

Apologies to anyone I may have clubbed in the process of trashing myself. I gotta get a h/ware boost from somewhere, urgently.
I had internet issues so i have timed out in 1st lap in sprint and feature race
Absoloute epic disaster fail

Race 1 - Was doing ok, but had crappy gearing and the wrong tyres. I got hit by the wannabe Harry Potter in his flying car (SamH) and that basically screwed up my race (Don't worry Sam - If you hadn't have screwed it up it, I would have managed to do it myself )

Race 2 - Started 1st (reverse grid FTW). I started by causing a carvan-esque traffic jam, which was obvious when it took a few laps for everyone to get good lap points . I got overtaken and slipped to 2nd, which was fine by me. But then, I managed to spin on the slightly upwards corner after the bridge/motorway, and basically the entire field passed me in seconds, and I was then 17th.

I went on from there, and managed to crash exiting the chicane on the same lap, and I blocked the road for Adam (really sorry mate). Then I was last, with no hope of doing anything. I drove a few laps and then crashed and rolled at the exit of the chicane, by which time I was throughly fed up

I should just quit and concentrate on the better things in life... dinner, fine wines.... police prams...
I had two setups to choose. For the first race it was the oversteering one. As I was mostly driving the other understeer set, I spun twice at turn 2 and caused some crashes. The result - 23th of 25 meant starting on P3 in the second race (reversed grid FTW! )

I chose the other setup again. Just before the T2 braking point I was inside and T.Madl on the outside. Expecting some oversteer (from the last race...) the car suddenly understeered, sliding to the outside...
After some other incidents (I unfortunately spun J.Parker in turn 5...) the final act was coming. Lap 16, on the chicane (T4). I hit the inside wall at he entry, causing me to spin. J.Kursk, being far enough away to react, went in full throttle. And I left the track.

At least I gained three points in the first race...
1st race was ok, pretty happy with 14th but race 2 was great, helped by the queue of cars i passed a few people then got my head down ending up in 5th which i am exstatic with

Hardly. You spun right in front of me. If i had had the time to slow down, you wouldnt have survived anyhow. :/
53 J.Kursk - first race, 3lap. It's your fault.. watch replay please.
It's not report.
As I said I missed the first race by 10 seconds.

The second one was really nice actually. Managed to stop loling at the huge train behind Ellis long enough to overtake some people when they crashed or whatever, had some good battles with various people as they came up behind me, then got in a nice bit of clean air. Had slightly changed my set just before the race and ended up beating my pb by 2 tenths  Would have got me up 6 places in quali

Anyway, thanks for the mainly clean racing, looking forward to the next round. Thanks also to the admins
Race 1, lap 3: I was running 7th behing Luis, when he hit the wall in the left turn just before the chicane which slowed him down and I managed to pass him for a sec.. unfortunately our cars touched a bit and that made me spin. It was mostly because of lag I think, just bad luck. Anyway I was stopped there right in the chicane and 20 cars coming downhill flat out so there was no way to join without causing massive pileup.. I just had to wait and let them go so the race was there

Race 2: I started 4th and got really great start which pulled me to 2nd place into T1 (I was 100% sure I'd get DT but apparently it wasn't false start :shy First couple laps there was a battle between me and Ellis before I managed to get pass him. After that it was pretty boring driving all alone and trying to keep myself concentrated. Last lap was exciting tho as I had underestimated the fuel consumption.. it went pretty close to even finish the race
