mmmm .... odd. I don't know. I do see your pm's listed in the db, so they're not gone. Maybe try logging out and back in? Or for test's sake, another browser? If you get the same there then perhaps I need to look further.

On PC#2, using IE and logging in for the first time ever using IE on the forum - I still get the notification.

I get the problem on PC#1 using Chrome, too.

wait, before i confuse myself. Is the problem just the notification? I looked at the "Inbox (0 Messages)" thingy and thought that was the problem. Like your messages would be missing?

No the message is there (and moved to "Jack's Archive" folder), but the notification is still saying I have a PM waiting to be read.

and opening the message doesn't make it read? (assume not, but hey .. )

I read the email, and never actually read the PM, I just moved it...

Now that i've opened it it's been marked as read.
