Has anyone played or still plays any of the Monkey Island game series?

I think I bought the fourth one, Escape from Monkey Island some time ago, and it still plays well, even though it's regarded as the worst one.

very recently both tales of monkey island and monkey island 1 special edition came out
first one has pretty rubbish controls but is supposed to be worth it and the special edition its abso bloody lutely amazing... although i dont like the new character designs much and its lacking that neat switch between cartoon and soap opera compic styles the original used in close ups
