Anyone ever been to this? because on the website it says truck and car racing on both days but i cant find the timetable so dont know what cars it is that will be racing alongside the trucks

I Have been to it at brands hatch.. dont actually remember what runs along side though All i know is that the pickup trucks do..

Watch out for a guy called dave jenkins in the truck's.. i call him Jason plato of truck racing.

I Must admit.. I Was 10x more entertained with these than DTM. Fantastic day out.

lol, one of my uncle's childhood friends used to race in the British Truck Racing Championship. Never been myself though, this will be the first time.

You will probably enjoy it.. depending where your watching it. I Would reccomend watching it from Club (Chicane last corner). Seen a quite a few crashes there with the trucks, and you can see the pure grunt of the 1000 Bhp Truck accelerating.

They used to run a Motorsports Festival, which had everything from trucks, single seaters, tintops to bikes. I'm not sure what they do for just the trucks, they always ran the trucks during the festival when I used to go.

Truck racing is the shit man, the roar of those huge tires and the rough growl and snort of those monster engines of 800bhp PLUS and enough torque to throw a penny under the wheel at a bizzilion miles a minute. Definately worth watching. No weight on the rear end and alot of torque, so expect ALOT of tail-wards action.

Well i had a look on youtube and there were video's from last year and there were the pickup's, Radical's and Mini Cooper Cup but that might have been part of the Dunlop Festival last year.

All I know is you might want to skip lunch before seeing them, the vibrations play havoc with your stomach, if you're in the grandstand the sound is amazing. The last time I went a truck went off in the first turn and nearly went through the fence, at least most people thought it was going to and they jumped up and ran like ****.

the trucks are great, i go every year to brands hatch to watch them, they have the pickups suport them as has been said plus what must be my favorit series the legends, its worth going just for that and from the program of november last year there were alos the caterham academy, dunlop motorsport new saloon chamiponship. the truck are great close racing and door banging in huge truck and when they crash they crash, especially when they roll over, have a look on youtube about tukracing in november 2008 at brands and youle probably see it,

Wow! i absolutely loved it today, the trucks are amazing. Just to think something that big can be flung around like nobodies business.

The support races werent bad either. Biggest dissapointment was in Heat 1 of the trucks when Stuart Oliver clobbered the kerbs and broke his front suspension

Never been to see the trucks. Maybe I'll have to find the time one weekend. Any ideas where I can look to find a calender (of truck racing events, not just a calender )?

and i know for a fact that they've got the Truck Superprix at Brands Hatch near the end of the year and the commentators today said its always very exciting to watch.

Im thinking why they pick the Indy track at brands hatch, Its tiny!

probably because the Grand Prix track is only allowed a certain amount of events a year and they tend to keep it for either popular national events or international events (like WTCC)

yh the brands hatch super pri is great and as its the last event of the year poeple seem a bit more willing to smash the trucks up lol, elton boocock even caries hats in the cab incase he crashes and then stands on the barrier and flings them over the fence, absolutly classic, did it on the brands hatch south bank,it was last year i think, very funny when you actually see it
