Watching it right now. Broke a couple of old diskettes and made a screen for my camera In 30 minutes it will be 93% phase at my city. Some clouds appear in the scene, but are quite transparent. Photos will be soon.

Too cloudy here, I am (apparently) in a good position for it, but there is too much cloud around to see anything.

So pity in many places it is cloudly, indeed.

It's about 50% of disc covered right now, the evening light seems green like in LFS The light is notably weaker.

looked ok on sky though it could easily have been a replay of any other eclipse they covered as they all look same on tv

was supposed to have gone to france for the one in 99 but missus was rushed into hospital 2 days before.

we had one in '99 iirc here in germany, it was a very cloudy day back then - but then the sun decided to come out (just to get hidden) just for us

btw: it was a 100% eclipse

Last time I saw an eclipse was in 1995. I was working at HJ Heinz in the chemistry lab playing around with chemical processes on ketchup (fun fun). The lab was in the corner of the building with windows wrapped the whole way around. It was really cool to see it in down town Pittsburgh.

There was an eclipse? I've seen one last year, but it was pretty boring, it wasn't completely, jst a very small %, few years ago it was much more interesting, it actually was darker that time
