Cheap starter wheel
I have pretty much given up on trying to get the adapter and ps2 wheel to work in lfs. I have tried everything. I need something that is no more the $50. I don't need anything expensive, just need somthing that will get me around the track.

Thanks, Tyler

compile a list of wheels that fit into your budget. work from there.
ffb is a must for driving/racing games. so that has to be on the check list. do you want it to turn 900°? if so, logitech is your only option. you probs looking at 2nd hand DFP for around that price.
So pretty much any pc wheel will work? Also I have been seeing alot of MOMO wheels on ebay. Are these any good?
As long as you buy a Logitech you're good.
Yeh, that is a known problem for MOMO.
But they will hold a while, and if you get new pots you won't have this problem ever again.
By the way, the MOMO force feedback and accuracy are a big deal for such a cheap wheel

Quote from MyNameIs940 :Nope.
The older models [DFP Rev.A and MOMO Racing Force Rev.A] have problems with the pedals that they are spiking.

Quite a lot of people also experience that on the G25 also, I know I have anyway. I just open them up and clean all the crap out of them and there as good as new. Not sure if it's the same case for the Momo?
In my MOMO the throtle pedal spiked a bit when I braked. The problem was than one of the wires came out of his place and was touching the throtle wire, moving a bit the potentiometer.

In my G25 the throtle spikes at any %, cleaning helps a bit, but it is doing what it wants yet
Even if you do get spiking issues, I fixed my G25 pedal spiking (80% travel would show up as 50-100% in game) by spraying into the pedal assembly with WD40, never had a problem since I sprayed them about 2-3 weeks ago so it _should_ work on any other pedal set that works similar to the G25.
