Can a blue and a yellow flag be shown at the same time? this morning i got a blue flag, faster car was behind me, and there was a car in front that had spun and obviously had a yellow (which i couldn't see). i only saw the blue shown and amost couldn't avoid the one in front.

I think nope as yellow flag forbids overtaking (I dont kno if it applies to overlapping though)

It does.

In general public races it is potentially a problem. Simply because all yellow flag means to most people in day-to-day races is "look out, potential trouble ahead". Rather than the more controlled and organised situations in an organised race/event.
