Right, basically, my CD jumps all the time when driving, and im told that should have a rubber brackety spacer kind of arrangement that fits between the back of my CD player and the mounting point in the dash of my mx-5 but the problem is i dont appear to have this part, and also, i cant seem to find wtf this part is actually called or where to get one from, i tried ebay, googling etc, i cannot find anything.

This is where it is supposed to fit between (i think)








So, does anyone know the proper name for this part, and where i could get one?

Why would you need this thing. Just take something other that is soft and stuff it behind the radio

try cleaning the lens of the cd player, a rubber mount at the back would only work if the front was isolated from vibration also. from memory that pressed tag in the dash is for the factory stereo to locate with a pin.
