I have just read that for £5 they are allowing cyclists on the track after the GT1 racing has finished both this evening & tomorrow.
If you have a ticket for the event then it is free.

So if anyone lives down that way it sounds like a nice opportunity to see what Jensen & Lewis get to race on.

Also I read somewhere (Can't remember where...) that the pitlane and the start/finish will also most likely be moved. I cant see where they would put it though.

Its gonna be between Club and Abbey.

imo this is a huge improvement looks so much more modern now, very big hand to BRDC for doing this

the track was never the problem, it's the bathrooms in boxes with now sinks by stowe and the muddy paths that wants fixing up.

I can't really see any great need for the changes, the new Abbey looks nice and the run into the complex is better from the club circuit, but the loss of Bridge is a shame and it just seems to be adding distance to an already very good track.

Additional stands, additional revenue, maybe a few extra overtaking opportunities down the new wellington straight down to brooklands.

It's a mini tilkification, bridge was just a train corner for f1 anyway

Not yet a fan of the new stuff, but it might be okay. Should be racing on it later in the year (GP Circuit as a Britcar support race), which will be pretty awesome!
