Options -> Driver. Click on your name in the "Driver name" section. Where it says "Enter new name for driver...", use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move to where you want to put the ribbon. Press and hold the Ctrl button on your keyboard to display all the colours you can choose. Click on the black square. Now, for the actual ribbon, I don't know what character you mean. You can click on the little down arrow next to the name of the codepage (e.g. Latin 1) to see all of the symbols. If you can't see the symbol you want look through the rest of the codepages (Turkish, Japanese etc) by clicking on the name of the current codepage and selecting the new one from the list. If you still can't find the symbol there post a picture of the symbol you want.
