Watching the first qualifying session with added intrest now we've got the BF1. Both the BMW Saubers scrapped through the first round in 15th and 16th place.
Bummer for them, but oh well, they are learning as a new team. I don't expect them to be up to par with Renault or anything
Well after getting through the first session (just) both Saubers have been knocked out Villenuve was too slow and Heidfeld stuffed it in the wall.

Plus they aren't completely "new" team, they are BMW-Sauber. Congrats to Schumi for pole #66! Another record in to the trash by this man. Hondas #2 and #3, and a misery in race I presume? Both Renault and McLaren relatively slow, heavy fuel-load? Hope so, otherwise it's pretty scary.
The BMW-Sauber isn't a slow F1 car. The Midland is slow. The Super Aguri is slow. The Toro Rosso is slow. BMWs ended 4th and 6th at Australia. That's good.
