What do you think about my team's logo on the wheel?...does it look good?

I've changed the middle *background* texture (i think it was carbon)..to a carbon fibre which i have lightened...ive given the ring in the middle a more metallic shiny look and the mid section is now a dark red (light threaded canvas texture). I've also bump mapped the text and arrow things slightly, to make it stick out. oh and ive messed the shadow of the metallic section.
