Been having an issue since i put on patch Z25 and Z28 where my car suddenly jumps around on the track? using win 7, never done it before the patches, tried reinstalling but no change, can someone please help as it makes me crash often, link to youtube for viewing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJN1Gu7Tr1w

What are your system specs? This isn't a bug, you're getting 30FPS, and as soon as you approached those barriers, it lagged and you crashed...

Also, if you recently switched to 7, it requires better specs than other Windows installations, so it could be an issue too...

i limited the fps to 30 for the vid, usually runs about 70fps, running 2.4ghz dual core o.c to 3ghz, 4gb ram 512mb nvidia 8600gt graphics card, i made switch to win 7 shortly after first beta came out, the issue with the the game also accurs in anywere on the track.

Disable your aero theme, Windows 7 has a very graphics intensive theme, It looks ugly, But for performance you need it classic.

Windows 7 and vista when they lag (This isn't a hang or lag like slow downs, This is Scvhost.exe temporarily freezing) Thankfully, Your computers which most do recover, Try this, If it does not work, I'll see if I can think out other options.

taking it off aero worked, didnt increase game performance at all, rather annoying that i have to change off aero now because of new patchs.

Does this happen on both Single Player and Multiplayer? If its only on multiplayer could be a server issue? or so i think probably wrong though

i never checked on single player, but but happened in multiple servers, and for some reason only on tracks with lots of barriers.

More objects require more computer ram and memory, with windows 7, 2GB of ram is actually ... 1.2 If i believe, Because of themes and extra processes.

It's not the patch it's windows 7, Vista doesn't have it, SO it MIGHT be a interesting thing to see if you can downgrade or use a friends computer to test it.

the issue resolved itself after changing off aero, the issue had never happend before, even with only 1.5gb of ram, whitch ran most games that i have fine, i am actually been using 4gb for a few months.

Sorry to start this thread back up again, but i am having the same issues as before, even with a clean install of LFS, i am getting about 180fps with lowish settings and its still happening, with and without aero on, im completely stumped on wat it could be, i woudl upload another vid to youtube but it will only show the same thing as the old one, any suggestions would be great.
