At the moment the XF and UF GTR are in a group (GTR no downforce) without a RWD car. If the LX8 GTR were added along with another car based on the RB4 or XR would make this a great group.

Yea, it would be cool to add a few more cars to that smaller GTR group.

I'm still wating for a touring sedan too.

A top fuel drag is made for ONE task only. To go as fast as possible in a straight line. It would be of NO use or fun on BL because they are not made to go around corners.

The idea reaised was for some RWD cars that are on slicks, have power but NO downforce so the UFR and XFR are not in their own class of FWD cars.

hmm, in my XFR i can keep up with FZR, XRR, and FXR. in all turns, just abit more power and they cud join that class

That's not the point. We're looking for a second GT300 style class. Right now those 2 cars fit... it would be cool to have another car or two to fit that class (rear wheel drive would mix it up a bit).

But the LX8 GTR would be way too fast for the XFR and UFR. And aren't the LX cars kinda in a class of their own anyway? Imho, any new rivals to the UFR and XFR would need to be similarly bodied cars rather than a tiny little LX. I don't know what the ideal car is to add to the "GT2" class (if the XRT has become the XRR, perhaps the XRG could be turned into a rival for the XFR/UFR?), but I can't see it being an LX.

If we would give XR GT slicks and around same amount of power as Gti GTR variant has, then we would have RWD car in this class and this would be easy to do also.

However then we would have quite many similar looking cars so I must suggest something different.

BTW; i have mentioned adding touring cars. UFR and XFR would prolly have to be changed a bit, but think of the TBO class, add some GTR styling, slicks, a bit more power (maybe) and viola, you have touring cars (WTCC style). you could have an UFR, XFR, FXO touring, XRT touring, maybe a RB4 touring. Those would be let's say like a Leon, Focus, Alfa, BMW and like an old Audi Quattro touring

Yeah I agree Woz, we had an XFR series in the AAL recently and it is a great little car but I often thought if only we had a similar rwd car, nice na engine, weight reduced and slicks. Another XR variant would be a bit boring but I'm sure eric could come up with something.
