I'm going to watch a couple of his movies when I get back, raise a bottle of beer and sit back and enjoy. One of these guys who I thought was immortal...a sad day.

It was very sad to hear it on the news on Radio 4 this morning. Then they played a montage of lines from Airplane and Police Squad and I found myself laughing like a drain in the car. Very talented comic - he was stuck in serious roles until he did Airplane and found his calling.
