Can you explain?
lfs.exe
people are either loosing connection/timing out...and when this happens they are reporting it is saying this >>lfs.exe has stopped working<<

this is happening continously on the server im crusing on...
re-install LFS

if not...I'd say look around the forum to see if anyone's stopped this...
are you sure it is not just the server was over loaded. some times if the server does not have a fast enough connection to host alot of people (lfs uses alot of bandwidth for servers) then it will just loose connection for people
No, none of this all.

It has to do with the amount of InSim packets being send out by the server (buttons I think). If it's too much at the same time then something weird happens and it crashes almost all connected clients with this message.

Only Scawen knows whats going on.. But.. Well.. He is on a long tire psychics vacation

It's a really annoying problem though

Maybe helps if the server admin increases TCP memory and buffer pool but you have to know what you are doing or being able to do it at all.

Very busy servers have this problem where a lot of disconnecting/connecting and InSim thingies are running at the same time.

Anyway I am able to reproduce it, if a LFS developer -ever- gets interested.
If you can reproduce it, can you run InSimSniffer to check out what packets are being sent when it happens? It might be possible to fix InSim apps themselves to prevent such crashes...
Hmm maybe.. I will come back on this later.
