Setup Restrictions
Drivers are restricted in the tyre compounds that they may use in LFSCART. Cars not using an allowed compound will be black flagged and must change to an allowed compound.
- Only R2 compound tyres may be used on Ovals.
- Only R2 and R3 compound tyres may be used on Road circuits.
Qualifying - Road Courses
Field split into halves (or more if needed) for 20 minute sessions, run concurrently over multiple servers, results set positions 7-30 (or 29 for South City)
Top six of the combined times go to a one-lap superpole session, results set positions 1-6.
Drivers must be within 107% of the fastest time from the combined 10-minute sessions to race. This is only enforced if there are more than 20 racers present.
Qualifying - Ovals
Automated control session, two timed laps after an outlap. Sorted by fastest lap.
Drivers must be within 103.5% of the fastest time to race. This is only enforced if there are more than 26 racers present.

Either Scheduled laps or 3 hours, excepting Kyoto 500 which has no time limit.
All oval races start after two formation laps, via a rolling start.
Safety Cars
Safety Car Deployed indicates that all racing for position shall cease, and drivers carefully catch the SC queue.
On road courses, pitlane entrance DOES NOT CLOSE. On ovals, pitlane entrance DOES close until field is satisfactorialy in queuue.
Pitlane exit closes when the SC queue is passing pit exit.
Leader controls pace on restarts, cannot overtake SC before it passes the first Safety Car line on road tracks; on ovals, field may overtake it as soon as it slows to head into pitlane.
Leader must not slow except for natural slowing points after starting to accelerate.
Overtaking on restarts prior to start/finish is forbidden.
Communication
You are strongly encouraged to be in the NDR TeamSpeak during all road course races. TeamSpeak is required - no exceptions - for all Oval races.
Blocking of messages is prohibited.
