Anything the "general public" like, I normally dislike, and I believe I am a good person because of that.

Songs for my taste need a meaning/soul, then on top of that need some decent instrumental. So I normally just like bands, true grassroots of music IMO.

Well, without women they'd be no life. Whether that would be because of no form of reproducing or starvation I would not know, but I would choose the latter in this case.

Don't jump the gun now. You are only meeting kitchen requirements, that is stage 1. We also have to put you through the house cleaning requirements, and then onto the bedroom requirements.

i seriously don't see how any of today's music is any good. i'm finding it hard to find new songs that fit my taste of alternative rock.

MTV used to be a great source of new music back when it actually played music. Alternative Nation, Headbangers Ball etc, and Ray Cokes Most Wanted were great back in the day.

Now it seems to be full of pregnant/rich/spoilt teenagers featuring in reality shows.

ever tried Last.FM or similar scrobble apps? They tend to show me music I'd be sad to miss. me listens to alternative too btw

Ah there is just no hope for chart music the way it looks like now. No skill, no emotion, not even work put into this. And this is supposed to be a form of art? Hell, no.

And the worst thing about that: People are buying this end-product of digestion, and are claiming to like it. I ask everyone who has bought something like that: Are you ears really connected to your brain? Or is there something inbetween which makes those "songs" sound remotley good?
