okay so i jus recently got my liscense for LFS and i saw the patches. W,X,Y, &Z. do i put all four?. or just one at a time?. and where do i put it??. thatnks guys.
i cant wait till my wheel comes in next week. jus driving with a dual joystick logitech.

Where are you seeing these patches W, X, Y & Z? Just use patch 0.6B, the latest patch available for download.

Just go to: http://www.lfs.net/?page=downloads

Yep, just use the Link from Eddy to get the current Version. If you have LFS installed already, you don´t have to care for the Version. When you click on Multiplayer and LFS tries to get the list of Servers, it will kindly remind you if a newer Version is available and you can just click on a Download button within the game.
So there´s no manual download and copying of files needed for LFS. It´s more or less reminding you and installing the Updates automatically.

Hey guys, it would be nice that we all post our setups into one big archive instead of making tons of thread each time you get a good set. Please use this one and let's make it easier for newcomers tto find their hapiness.

Please note that these settings will not make you a master of drift. There is an infinite variety of driving styles and setup preferences, you may have to make adjustments to suit your individual style.

Not absolutely sure if you got it, but those are car setups, not official patches.

Just take the patch Y set, it should still work with 0.6B. Ignore the others, they are for older versions.

good to hear you ordered a G27... you will never regret it!
Also, do not be too frustrated at start with LFS since it is quite different from Forza etc. Just be patient and find out all the fantastic elements of LFS with time. It may seem very different from any other driving game as you start to explore it, but practice and dedication sure pay off really good in LFS - just as IRL racing.
Good luck with your new investment - and be prepared for hundreds of hours of fun online! ! Don't hesitate to post questions if you feel getting stuck at any point!

Thanks for all the help guys. And yupp my wheel came in two days ago. I'm starting to get the hang of it and I love it from the time I saw the box. Lol. Can't wait to jump online with all of you guys,

It may be a faster way climbing the ladder compared to racing against AI.
