19:13 - #53 - DT - Speeding in pits
• Session: Qual Race
• The correct lap: 1
• The cars (/teams) involved : #23 and #14
• The lap/sector/time : 1/1st corner
• And a short description from your point of view: Contact between #14 and #23,#23 spins and looses a lot of time and places.
• Session: Qual Race
• The correct lap: 10-11
• The cars (/teams) involved : #21, #54 and #75
• The lap/sector/time : S/F line
• And a short description from your point of view: #21 rammed GT300 cars.
• The correct lap: 25 (for the driver in GT300)
• The cars (/teams) involved : #70 and #57
• The lap/sector/time : 1/1st corner
• And a short description from your point of view: Contact between #70 and #57 causing a crash without waiting for the crashed driver.
• The correct lap 2
• The cars (/teams) involved #60 #57
• The lap/sector/time 1/2/
• And a short description from your point of view. Goming to backstrait 57 was inside in the corner and he didnt give us room to be outside. He hit us and we spinned off. We lost several places.
• The correct lap 25
• The cars (/teams) involved #06 #02
• The lap/sector/time last corner
• And a short description from your point of view : #06 overtook #02 into the straigh and #02 failed under braking at final hairpin hitting the back of #06 causing it to spun, drop back to 5th with pretty hot rear tyres.
The correct lap 79/80
• The cars (/teams) involved #13 #25
• The lap/sector/time S/F-Line
• And a short description from your point of view : #25 tried to overtake a GT300 car over the grass to overtake #13, too. As a result of this there was a huge crash at S/F-Line... no comment...
• The correct lap: 10
• The cars (/teams) involved : #52 and #57
• The lap/sector/time : Backstraight
• And a short description from your point of view: #57 went for bumpdraft #52 to get closer to #56. Right before the chicane, #57 didn't noticed that #52 has a earlier braking point, #52 started to braking, #57 pushed from the rear left, caused #52 going on the grass and crashing into the barriers in the chicane. Caused to #52 some tricky damage, loosing lots of positions and time.
• The correct lap - 57-59 (not sure for what class, as I saw it on stream)
• The cars (/teams) involved : Core GT5/ LLM GT5
• The lap/sector/time: Last Sector, Chicane, 3rd part
• And a short description from your point of view.: CoRe was a couple laps down and decided to race us thru the chicane. Edit: then we spun after contact
#14 squeezes #23 slightly at the apex of turn 1. #23 doesn't use all of the curb, but #14 also could have given more room. #14 actually lost out most from the incident. Warning to #14 to leave sufficient room when attempting to overtake (rule J1).
#21 simply attempts to drive through #75, causing a big accident that seriously disadvantages both #75 and #54. This is really inexplicably bad driving from the #21, and not something we ever want to see in this series. 5-place grid penalty + 5-point penalty for #21.
While these three incidents are essentially racing incidents when judged individually, together they establish a pattern of the #57 driver not leaving other cars sufficient room (per rule J1) when attempting a pass. C1/DT equivalent to #57.
#02 brakes too late and makes avoidable contact with #06, spinning him out. C1/DT equivalent to #02.
Despite the #52 being clearly visible as he came off the last corner, and despite having clear track to the right, #25 is "surprised" when he finds himself behind the GT300 and attempts to pass him in the grass. We find this move to be a) poorly considered, and b) likely intentional. This poor decision seriously impacted the races of several other teams. -1L penalty and 5-position grid penalty to #25.
Additionally, a warning to #13 for lack of awareness/making contact when cutting back across the front of the GT300 car. This is #13's second warning for a lack of situational awareness. Any further incidents of this sort will result in an automatic penalty.
#07, though laps down to #09, has the preferred line going into the chicane. #09, despite knowing #07 wasn't passing him for position, decides to contest the pass anyway. #07 gets a bit squirrely over the curbs entering the chicane and the two make contact at the apex, sending #09 into a spin. Warning to #07 to use better judgment when attempting to unlap himself (rule J3).
ADDITIONAL INCIDENTS:
#07 has a run on #14 down the back straight, but the XRR is faster in a straight line, so they're roughly even as they approach the chicane. #14 brakes slightly later and takes an aggressive line into the chicane, forcing #07 over the curbs where his car becomes unsettled. The two make slight contact at the apex, sending #14 into a spin. As he recovers, he is hit first by #71 and then by #70, who sends him onto his roof and brings out the SC. #81 sneaks by between the other two GT300s, but also fails to slow enough for the yellow flags. Warning to #71, #80, and #70 for failing to heed yellow flags in a blind corner.
#04 spins coming off the turn onto the backstretch and begins to return to the track before seeing some GT300s coming. When he sees them, he stops, leaving his car broadside to traffic. #57 and #53 see this and pass to the right, but for some reason #63, who has a clear path around the #04, never deviates from his course and hits him at full throttle. Warning to #63 for lack of awareness/failing to heed yellow flags.
#01 accelerates far in advance of the green cones designating the "restart line," despite being instructed by the admins to maintain SC pace until reaching them. Warning to #01 to respect the restart procedures (rule I2.1).
#03 driver Sascha Riegler exceeded the 60-minute limit for a single driver. Since the SC period extended the race by roughly 2:30, we have discounted this time from his overage. -1L penalty to #03.
