Playstation 2 Controller with LFS?
Alright. I'm willing to dish out the money to buy a wheel, but at this point I do not have that money(end of the year, prom, trips, etc). My question is whether or not this adapter: http://www.radioshack.com/prod ... ?productId=2036260&cp would allow me to play LFS with my PS2 controller until I have saved enough money. I've got a joystick, but sadly a pesky little disk prevents the joystick(Saitek Cyborg 3D Rumble Force) from having "smooth" movements, therefore unable to really satisfy me until I get a wheel. At only $7, if it works I'll get it for the time being. Opinions?

You are really gonna need more precision than a PS2 controller will give you. You just cant be accurate in the mid movement ranges with a PS2. Remember with a wheel you hardly ever go full lock.

A possible solution would be to lower the wheel lock in your setups but then you wont be able to hold slides as easily.

I use a PSX pad with a Rockfire USB adapter (£10 @ Maplins) and the analogue controllers and vibration work fine functionality wise.

I'm thinking of getting a wheel sometime soon though.

I use a Rockfire USB Gamepad, the stick's far more precise than the PS2.
