My connection is 12.0 and 1.50 I can not get many videos from youtube to load fast.
I will not change my DNS.
No other problems develop during my surfing.
Sometimes it works like a charm. Some times I am stuck waiting for it to load.

youtube changed how their player downloads content.

if you pause it, it will download a small portion then stop. i don't know if they employ any sort of rate limiting though.

Press an arrow key and play snake whilst you wait.

could be a shitty pc/laptop/router in fairness, the generic cisco/netgear etc you get from you're provider are generally pretty rubbish, they work... but not very well.

I get exactly the same problem and I was told by a friend that it happens because of servers - it is sometimes occupied so the video loads slower, sometimes not so the video loads faster. I tested it when I clicked each day the same vid and the way it loaded was completely random so I think this could be the issue.
