Hey guys, Had a few issues with skype and my fresh install of W7 Home Premium 64bit-Whenever I'm in a skype call it will takeover the headphones soundcard and play music on the speakers, for which if you're driving late night, you get a skype call and 90db of music comes from nowhere you're gonna have a bad time.

Using the IDT Beats Audio software I cannot change it to Independant Headphones from 'Speakers and headphones' both controlled by the IDT software.

Laptop is a DV7-4150ea. Trying to get the sound from a 3.5mm Headphone jack when in skype, which it has done pre-reinstall.

Any ideas?

Have you tried changing output device in Skype's audio settings?
