New upgrade! Team Xtreem ram, all i need now is a decent overclocking CPU (ie an Opty) and i could get to the mystical 3 GHz!
my machine is:

ASrock 939Dual-SATA
AMD 64 x2 4200+
2GB Corsair DDR400
320GB Seagate SATA HDD
Ati Radeon 9250 AGP (256Mb)
iCute modding case

well not at the moment. the motherboard died so i'm waiting for a replacement at the moment. it did run LFS very well, at 70fps
OUCH - GFX card holding you back alot there!
now you've taken the piss out of my card in 2 threads not bothered really
First you were selling it for £40, now i find you actually dont have a socket A rig, and that you have a fairly good CPU!
i'm not sure if you are saying my PC is good or bad. btw i only paid £40 for the GFX card
I know, im just saying that if you game you REALLY need a better card.

When did you buy that card? a friend of mine sold his AGP 6600GT (which is the same speed as an old 9800XT) for £50, and that would run HUGE rings around your card (ie in the order of 3 or 4 times quicker)
i see. so a 7600GS would be good then. i've only had the card for around 8 months i think
7600GT would be better, or a 7900GS if you can afford it
