Brief Description of Incident : As the cars approached T1, 30 and 01 was side by side, as they entered the braking zone, 01 turns right which interferes with 30's line which is relatively straight, causing 30 running wide and later ending up in the grass after a change of line from 02, eventually loosing us top 3 position and loosing valuable time.

Racing incident, no penalty.

Contact between 30 and 01 was a result of close quarters racing action.

Contact between 30 and 02 was a result of 30 having the straight run from the outside of the track. Car 02 did not change his line, he was following his line which was taking him to the outside of the corner. Car 02 had no cause for expectation of Car 30 moving to the outside, as well as car 30 should not have expected Car 02 to know 30 would be arriving there.

Drive through penalty issued to the #33 entry for a dangerous rejoin which resulted in a collision with car number 25.

Entry number 30 also receives a drive through penalty for avoidable contact which resulted in the initial incident with the 33.

Drive through peanlty issued to entry number 62 for causing an avoidable incident. 62 failed to give car number 75 room to traverse the corner in a respectable manner resulting in contact and a spin for car number 75.

Drive Through Penalty for Car #78 -avoidable contact and not leaving sufficient racing room, which results in #25 leaving the racing surface.

Car #2 makes a slightly optimistic overtaking attempt on Car #75 into the hairpin, which results in contact. Warning to Car #02 for avoidable contact. It's a 12 hour race - you don't need to divebomb quite that much yet!

Brief Description of Incident: 08 goes up the inside and pushes 75 into the gravel. Because 75 cannot stop in time car 78 is also caught up in this.

It was found that Car #75 did not give Car #08 sufficient room on the apex of the corner to complete the presented overtaking maneuver, which resulted in contact. #75 then returns to the track in a slightly unsafe manner which results in a collision with #78. Car #75 is awarded a Drive-Through Penalty for the initial contact, no penalty for the secondary contact as it was considered that it was very difficult to control the car at high speed on the gravel and #78 hitting #75 was more bad luck than bad judgement.
The timeouts by Car 06 will be investigated post-race as suspicous.

No further action taken, the DT for the early pitlane departure after Car 06's second timeout served as a penalty.

A relief driver may enter the pitlane, but not exit pitlane and enter the track until after the car they are relieving has timed out. This will be added to the regulations during the week of 01/27/2014

Incident on back straight

Car 06 approaches Car 52 on the back straight. As Car 06 begins to pull out of the shadow of Car 52 around Split 2, Car 52 brakes heavily to allow 06 past quickly, but Car 06 makes significant sideswipe contact with Car 52. Car 06 had insufficient time to react to the braking, and the collision is unavoidable. Car 06 was just over one tyres' width in overlap left to right with Car 52 when the ahead car braked; contact was made front right to rear left, Car 06 ending up worse off.

Car 52 - Causing an avoidable incident; -5 grid places at next round


Jake Cooper (BlueFlame) had a "eventful" final stint. It was reviewed post-race. There are a minimum of 13 separate incidents (either self or involving others) during the 21+ laps of the stint. Majority of these are associated with overheated rear tyres, and not through directly apparent malice.

Car 54's final stint driver, Adam "garfild12" Wisniewski is given a warning for causing avoidable contact on the cool-down lap with Car 06.

Car 78's Sam "ratrug101" Holt and Jake "BlueFlame" Cooper are given a warning for causing avoidable contact on the cool-down lap with Car 52.



Car 96 is given a 5-point penalty for unauthorized spectating from on course.
