Racers!
The Seventh Annual Kyoto 250 will be held on Sunday, March 30th, 2014. As most will recall, it's usually been held on the last Saturday in March, but Genuine Racing have GT Masters on the final Sunday before the final Saturday which would have been the typical qualifying day. This year, the qualifying day activities will take place on the day prior to the Kyoto 250.
The format for the event will remain the same, along with entry requirements. Drivers must have 175 or more online laps of KY1 with the XRT, along with a hotlap within 103% of the world record posted to LFSWorld. Drivers will also be obligated to attend two practice sessions organized in the weeks leading up to race weekend.
Qualifying will begin with hotlaps taken by each driver, then the qualified cars will be split into two 115-mile qualifying races. The first will set the inside file of the race grid, the second will set the outside file. The race will be 135 laps.
Qualifying Day will start at 17:00 UTC on Saturday, March 29th, 2014. The Race will start at 17:45 UTC on Sunday, March 30th, 2014. The Twin 115s and the Race are scheduled to be streamed on Simrace.tv Stream 3
Signups and Practice Session info will be available after Wednesday, March 5th.
