Hosting a server.
Hello,

I have a few questions.

When hosting a server, what program should I use? The official LFS S2 Dedi thing?

Second, what ports do I have to forward? There is more than 1, I'm sure.

As usual, for the 200000th time, ''Guest wants to join'' and he can't connect.
Forwarded another port. 29339 ( I think ), but still, times out for others.
Anyone know a solution?
Still, after endless attempts the result is the same.

I've done everything in the Manual.
And what exactly is that? Tell us precisely what you did and how and hopefully we'll spot something you've done incorrectly...
Okay,

First of all,

Downloaded the S2 Dedi and set it up.
Then I forwarded the router ports ( 29339 and 63392 ). Both of them UDP and TCP. I did the same as in the link given before.
Friend tried and he timed out.
Forwarded firewall ports. I did TCP and UDP for each one by following the Hosting manual.
Friend tried and still timed out.

Here is my cfg:

Port 29339 does not have to be forwarded because it's the outgoing port, only 63392 does. "Forwarded firewall ports" makes no sense to me, did you actually mean "allowed those ports on the firewall"? Do you have a static IP address set on your computer? Some routers might fail to forward ports to devices with dynamic IP address. Does your router have any sort of firewall of filter that might block the connection?
I had my ports forwarded on Assetto Corsa and it worked ideally, did everything like here. I just don't get it.

And yeah, I allowed those ports.
Did you allow them at software firewall settings also?
