Multiplayer: Game password does not match [SOLVED]
Ok, looked around and haven't found an answer so I'll ask here. I have two gaming rigs that both can connect to, and play LFS with my S2 license. But on one of them, it can neither host or join a multiplayer game. When joining, I create a new guest driver, fill in the info for the session my first rig is hosting, and click to join.

I then get the error 'Game Password does not match'

Mind you they can both connect to, and play LFS on their own. If I try hosting with that rig, same error. I have a VPN connection at my disposal so figuring it might be some IP confusion, I tried having one of the rigs use that so geographically and network wise we weren't related. Same issue. Tried the 'clear host passwords' which really didn't seem related and of course did not help.

Please help me.

Very frustrated by all the unlock issues I've had prior and now this. I'll you what, I can hear Iracing calling me back louder each day due to all the trouble with this crazy copy protection.

I want to like LFS, really, but I spend the same amount troubleshooting license issues as I do playing.

** Best answer **
Saw someone else's post about resetting their pw and realized I had done that on one rig for another licensing issue. So even though it retained it's licensing status, it rechecks during multiplayer and of course it didn't match...

Fixed now. Buggy!
It is called security. If someone steals your account that's the way to lock him out so he cannot keep using your account forever

Quite pointless comment. Asking for help and then threating by saying that you're going back to play iRacing. This was from far just your fault. So dont blame LFS for something you've done.
