Just ask people in here. Most of us ( me included ) are still here from when LFS was first about. I am not totally sure of a website or a general info page, but somebody like Tweaker or Orion are always a sure bet for this sort of knowledge.

Well, there's the dev posts on the frontpage of liveforspeed.net which go all the way back to the beginning IIRC (check the archives link at the bottom of the page).
You can even download older versions of LFS. I did that some time ago, cool to see how much progress has been made

They have collected pretty much every screenshot from the newsposts and interviews, the one I linked to prolly hasn't been seen by much of the newer guys.. Here's the interview the pics are from (correct me if I'm wrong, that was a long time ago)
