It's possible to illegally shave 2 secs off your lap time if you do the following:
Instead of driving thru to T2 (the slow, sharp left after T1) you dive into the secondary unused pit at full speed (in 6th hard to the floor) if you manage to negotiate thru the bumps (u'll get it after a couple of goes) you will hammer into the pit wall at the end of the pit, which of course a hard left.
This will most of the time wreck your car but every now and then you will get lucky and the damage will not affect the handling and allow you to complete the lap some 2 to 4 secs quicker than driving a correct lap.
This cheat is also possible when Hot Lapping! (Although, don't upload your lap!
