The first thing I noticed when I got LFS S2 a few days ago, was that the cars all have different sounds, but they are too similar to each other. It would be cool to have real life sounds for each car. For example, for the UF1000, maybe sound from a Mini Cooper? And for the FZ50, a 6 cylinder Porsche? Tell me what you guys think. Smile
It is good but sadly there is one problem, copyright(harley davison has a copyright to their bike sounds) and the exclusivity agreement betwen porsche and ea games.
You know that shift+A brings up a menu with alot of customization to each cars sound right?
Wow, I did not know that. Will the difference in the way the car sounds be heard by others in Multiplayer?
With the honk yes but the engine sound i dont know

No, it's just on your computer, and it affects all of the cars' sound at the same time, unfortunately. I put in a suggestion a while ago, that maybe this information was small enough that it could easily be passed to other players at the same time as the rest of the driver information when logging onto a server, but the problem is that LFS can only handle one sound output for each different type of car at a time. It may be something that Scawen might look at implementing in the future, but for now it's one sound for everybody...
