Sometimes my OC causes a similar error message, for example if I let it run too hot and it drops the voltage.
Yea i was overclocking my gpu today, but it works ok in every game except lfs. I oc'ed it very hard but everything is very stable.
Try setting a framelimit, to prevent gpu from going 100%, to stop the gpu from achieving highest possible framerates, or setting a higher fancurve/voltage
