well.. imo this is where the problem comes in
LFS is a simulation (best at that.. especially compared to the titles that use the word simulation) which, that automatically detracts a TON of people because they all want games that they can win with really fast cars like.. GT4; so there goes that group
now we have the diehards that do like "simulation" games that get here and are like.. wow this is almost real.. blah blah etc they love it, and they automatically buy it
then you get the other group of people that want it, but just cant afford it for probably more personal or location wise reasons
if i could remember why i buyed S1 when i did, i would say why, but i cant really remember lol, all i know is that i played demo for about 2 weeks and after that i decided to tell my dad about it and payed him for it and bought it online
the problem though for demos, is that its hard to really show people what type of game it is or whats great about it and so on, unfortunately, LFS has probably the most undiverse car wise demos out there (track wise its perfect with a concrete track and autocross and rallycross)
but if you go out and download any other demo out there (well.. usually) you will find it also has 3 or 4 cars, each at a different stage, a slow car, a medium car, and a fast car; lfs kinda has.. 2 slow and 1.. semislow car
so car wise, LFS demo isn't very attractive in all sense
because as of right now, there is no reason the demo should have the XRGT with the GTi, thats just 2 cars that are virtually the same, thats why i say we kick the XRGT and replace it with some type of open wheeler kart formula type.. thing
