I just purchased s2 liscence and at the moment cant afford a steering wheel. i use an xbox 360 controller at the moment and was wondering if there's a way to create a dead zone in the steering.
at the moment it's just way to sensitive... the slightest movement of the joypad's stick and the car turns instantly.

any info would be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance

I guess the joypad is digital then? (look at the green and red bar in the bottom left of the screen)
Maybe it's a good idea to try mouse, if it actually IS digital. Btw, there are also digital pads with analogue output (microsoft sense), so you must be careful and look at the input rather than the text on the package

I have the very same problem, but I HAVE an anlagogue joypad. The steering is way to sensitive, but the biggest problem is that I can't change the dead zone. This makes it impossible to keep a straight course at high speed. Can I tweak the dead zone in the registry, any settings file or somewhere else?
