Hello!

Well isn't this website / game a blast from the past! I had a nostalgic notion to look into this game roughly 12-14 years after last playing it and was exstatic when I found it was still active!

I know back then there was regular events / leagues for the beginner racers, or at least the ones that were not producing +1 or +2 second lap times off the world records! I noticed the forum for this section was, for another word, dead. Hence why I am posting this here.

Any help would be appreciated or anyone that runs servers with regular clean racers would be great to get back into this. I remember in the day I was a member of a group that regularly raced in passworded servers but my goodness me thats a very long time ago!

Glad to be back and maybe see some of you on the track.

Most if the top racers are indeed much faster than myself, i tend to race near the back if the field, playing catch with blue flags and all.

But the racing is great, clean and fun even when ur not alien-fast! You're very much welcome!

There s also FOX Friday, same concept but with the Formula XR.

do not hesitate to join the Gum Garage ! all level takes place on the grid, there is no time selection.
you sign-up and you are fairplay and clean driver ? so you run the race !
no one is put off the grid due to his qualifying time.
the only needed is a wheel controller and a correct safe car handling on the track.

we organise Cups and Enduro & more on a permanent server.

In RTFR ( https://www.lfs.net/forum/462-Rony%27s-Tuesday%27s-Fun-Race ) there is quite variating skill level through field from world record owners to drivers starting to evolve their skill. Cleanness of racing is also variating - races are mostly clean,but some messy races happen,often incidents not reviewed because people are too lazy to report (but not too lazy to complain with general statements) as I rely on reports rather than going through replays. Already today is a race,but we'll be racing a very difficult car today as part of the experimental version of the event.

Anyway - leagues section with calender is a good help when searching for organized racing events,there are plenty of different events: https://www.lfs.net/leagues

I can strongly recommend checking out Gum Garage, I participated in my first league race with them earlier this year and it's the best thing I've done in sim racing. Good hard fought racing but not too serious, there's all sorts of different skill levels and a nice community.

Cesav sounds like it might be something you'd be interested in.

~ 45min races ran on mondays, mostly spanish/spanish speaking, but not exclusively.

Probably the problem is you have not filled in your lfs license name in your cesav profile.

Anyway, if you can't manage to fully register for a race after completing your profile or have any more questions send me a PM or post a message in the FAQ thread.

I've already done it I didn't know I had to apply my LFS account on the site
