I have to reinstall LFS. Can I backup settings and skins?

In order to keep your settings (and other personalised things), you should just backup your whole LFS folder. You can copy it back later (or part from it) to retain your previous state. You may be asked to unlock again though, in case you have reinstalled Windows or change some hardware.
