I have the rails ready but the problem is that rail placement is still bugged; the corners do not auto align to the nearest track piece. We have to wait until that is fixed in a patch.

If you're talking about singleplayer, I recommend MCEdit. You can generate a completely flat land from scratch or open up a save and do some landscaping. Clone, replace, generate, delete.... it's all possible.

The errors are mostly solved now it seems. No more connection problems. There's also a client update but the version is still 1.2_01.

Edit: Nvm, that was just 2 minutes of clarity before the next storm came around. Still just as bad as before.

No paint. Just cloth dye, just like in creative mode.

I also wouldn't mind a new world. I have nothing on the current world and a new world will be 100% up to date.

We dont need a new map. Anything that already exists stays as it is, anything else is generated with the new algorithm to include the new blocks and trees etc.

The water mob is a friendly squid. You get squid meat when you kill them. I'm not sure what to do with it since eating it (uncooked) doesn't work.
