Another bugfix released, it seems Notch figured out what caused the invisible players and this time fixed it.

Yeah, players being invisible is quite common now, especially after teleporting and respawning. Notch updated the player position code but it still needs work.

For now, reconnecting fixes this.

Also, there's light bugs causing super dark shadows, and other stuff. I don't expect a new update or hotfix soon though, there's alot of code to add and rewrite to make things work.
I'll expect one somewhere mid december I think.

But I said this before, SMP finally being added makes up for all of that! It's what I've been waiting for since I first played MC! It's awesome teaming up together to find and share resources, building a shelter before the sun sets, exploring cave after cave together. It's one epic adventure!

Btw, for trying out the new update, I've set up a server and I'll be playing there. It'll be up untill Boosted puts his server up.

There's no way around that other than completely bypassing it by connecting straight to the modem if you have a separate modem. But if you don't have the password and someone else isn't trying to keep you out of the router, you can easily look up the default password for your router on Google and try that.

Me too, I've grown quite insusceptible of overly dramatic videos with the exception of a rare few genuine videos that don't try, but just ARE beautiful by their content rather than editing.

If you fiddle with the in game settings like Render distance and perhaps set Graphics to Fast instead of Fancy you should be okay with that setup.

The game isn't very graphics heayy so don't worry about the GPU; the main factor is the CPU which has to randomly generate the world.
