I'm glad the Basler Fasnacht is alot cooler than the Villmerger Fasnacht.
I live there, and this marching band from hell marches back and forth my bedroom window from 22.00 until 5.00 in the morning, 3 times a week! I swear, I feel like a soldier waking up in a battlezone... (with the same killer instinct)
I've always loved the Age of Empires series and recently got interested in RTS games since I played the Civilization stage of Spore, so needless to say, I'm quite curious about this game.
I heard some of you say it's turn-based? Does that mean it plays like a boardgame? You take a step - your enemy takes a step etc. etc. ? If it is... I might have to revise my interest in the game...
Higher platter speeds means that higher performance is possible, but it's not the RPM that decide what makes the faster HDD. There are plenty of 7200 RPM HDDs that outperform the majority of 10K HDDs.
If I were you I would compare write, read and seek speeds of about 5 well known brands in your budget range and totally disregard platter speed.
As for noise, in my other system I have 2 10K RPM HDDs and I never heard any noise above the CPU and PSU fans' noise, so I really wouldn't let that influence your choice.
Americans like big boobs more than Europeans actually. I for one am not a fan of the big ones, because they almost always tend to hang loose. I love 'em any size, as long as it's firm.
And speaking of Asian, here's my little Indonesian monkey. (Yes, I have permission)
Hah, are you sure she gave you the permission to post her picture on a forum full of racing sim geeks?
None of my business of course, but just wondering. Would be a shame to see her run, as she's quite a looker.
Any attempt of compressing your file would result in a loss of quality, regardless of what bitrate you use, as that would be compression of a compressed file. Amplified artifacts, etc.
We'll need the uncompressed file... if you have it.
That's due to the fact that school networks are always administrated by a skinny drop-out IT guy that uses cumbersome and inexplicable methods nobody ever taught him. He probably also uses Caps lock instead of Shift and uses his whole desk for his mouse as he never figured out to lift the mouse up while dragging an icon to the recycle bin on the bottom right corner of his desktop.
I bet you were one of the only two that knew about it. The other person being the one who told you.
In that context, you should have informed a sword swallower while performing his art that his profession had a dedicated day.
Yup, as it turned out, all the Ozzies (who normally have major censorship on games) all of a sudden had puddles of blood underneath their victims and started complaining. While the rest of the world complained about the lack thereof. I personally couldn't care less. Me purposely driving over the sidewalk, plowing through pedestrians but surprisingly don't have a stream of blood underneath their lifeless bodies... doesn't really make it less violent.
I'll just share it with my beloved LFS community instead:
'Today, I logged in to Facebook and noticed my girlfriend changed her relationship status to "Single". 2 hours later, it changed into "In a relationship". That person wasn't me. FML'
After I submitted it though, her status was updated again and it showed who it was. She listed her relationship with her sister. It was a joke. I laughed, but imagine how I felt when I didn't know the entire story... :P
Today I posted another true FML onto the site, only to have it being denied, just like 2 other ones that actually happened, while people post 5 FMLs per day with the highest amount of BS possible, which are all accepted. FML.
