Connecting doesn't seem to work so I definitely think an update is required.

It actually feels a whole lot better than I expected! It's much more like a sim now. I can't wait for it to be released.

When they're not tamed, they attack animals until they're dead. When you've tamed them they don't do it, unless you attack the animals yourself. This allows you to go hunting with a pack of wolves: you tap each animal you want dead and the wolves finish them off.
Tamed wolves also auto attack all monsters apart from creepers.

And yeah, Minecraft is a goofy game and always will be. That's how Mojang likes it. This update is part of that and I think it's fun. When I get bored of it, I get on with my life.

Vsync can cause quite a delay because it buffers frames before sending them to the monitor. Turn that off for quicker input response. Also, anti-aliasing.
Close unnecessary background processes with Taskmanager, try closing Logitech Gaming Software and try the input lag fix posted above.

Judging by how I know what you like in games, that's the best idea. It's the kind of shallow game you'd have fun with for a few hours and then sort of lose the motivation to play further. I like medic. Healing myself and laying down medikits at popular spots has huge advantages. Plus, the MG3 does serious damage on mid-range.

If you can't reach the next ring, make sure you're holding the current ring at the point closest to the next ring. Sometimes you need to be just 1 pixel closer.
