yea in our server we've been getting some kind of "nos" hack but it was demo users so meh you ban them they create a new account nothing can be done there.
the hack a lone is a odd one you can tell they are using it but not like the old nos hack where you see them spinning out of control. its hard to detect it now
really nothing. but then again if you think about it a demo user for almost 3 years... how many times has he jumped on crack s2. and no this is not trapping a demo player...

if i'm not mistaken speed hack still counts fuel consumption
not possible for him to use tweak. and only have 2 liter of fuel burnt.. i tried that on one of our private host to see if it was possible... this is what i got

Travelled distance: 107 Km
Fuel burnt: 656 Ltr
clearly he not using tweak.
clearly vob mods aren't allowed. now if he only going to use it in blender then that doesn't effect LFS. but if he tries to use it in LFS then ya that will be a vob mod. doing a vob mod for lfs is lame with only 16k poly count so low res not worth wasting time on it.
and then you'll get flamed for modding cars. and having people tell you its against the rules. then again rules don't stop people so go for it
yea i agree with you there. i my self like games that are always being updated or has some progression on it. far as the LFS Tweaks that gets old in single player, i hate using tweaks on MP due to messing up pb's. The big game developers know this they just do what has worked best for them in the past scared to take on new challenges that would be involved with implementing a racing simulator with GT5 or project cars quality while keeping to the physics would be very cpu and gpu intensive i believe but i don't know that much about computers.
LFS is not big with today's crowd it was big years ago sure. But now they have to compete with loads of other sim's coming out well i say loads of sims but only a few. example project cars been in development 3-4 years and they're already about to release it to buy in july. I know i am "new" to lfs with only being here 2 years but i my self am tired of waiting for a "good" update. ya open config is good but at same time it was kinda pointless. cause now there is more track bugs then before. Now for the vws all the hype for what? cause it is a branded car in a game? vws will deff be more top heavy then xfg so i can't see it handling to well with lfs current physics
what the server owner does on his server is up to him he can keep who ever he wants out. and if it a admin on the server most likely the guy who made him a admin don't give a shit about who he bans.
well beav and horn are going to wreck arma2 as well shame that is actually a good military game. but back on topic no one gives two shits about wkd members and what they are doing now so move on stop obsessing over the past....
on another note yea going to private server would help a lot by only letting trusted users on but one that is a pain too. also how are you suppose to grow your team/community if you don't open up and let people in. it is a catch 22 so to speak damned if you do damned if you don't

The devs really can't do anything to prevent this from happening. All they can really do is ban the user/users that are responsible for it when given enough proof. Even then that does not work cause all they have to do is buy another s2 account or make a new demo account. The first step to slowly stopping is doing what they suggested not to long ago about limiting demo. In my eyes I think that would a step closer to some what fixing the issue at hand. As for what bishtop said I'm with him on that running away and ignoring this will not make it better like you suggested bdog. Show me a time in the pasted where running away came out on top instead of meeting the problem head on and facing it.
ya we had proof of s2 user hosting crack server and telling demo users how to crack it yet the mod closed the thread oh well they only step in when its important to them and effects them. as for r1hard that is a shame i raced with him many of times
its clear now days a lot of people are cheating, hacking and cracking s2 but in the end nothing can be done it will always happen. apparently it is ok for s2 users to host a cracked s2 server. since that seems to be ok why bother fighting this. ya it takes the fun out of it i can agree there. the down fall is too many people doing it not enough support to stop it.
and some times you may have to invert the axis i had to do that for my ct and hand brake
the triggers have there own axis just assign them to what you want to control if it still sluggish to you change button rate. i use ps3 as well and i feel the joysticks give you better throttle/brake control but that is my opinion people like what feels good to them
