i think it would be nice and useful to have kerbs beside the other objects. most useful for autocross, to help determin better the turn in front and negociate it properly...because lines or barriers does not do the trick it will also be very useful on other tracks .. to help determine a new corner for example... and i dont think it would be very dificult to implement this. 2 or 3 angle variasions, solid object that will be fixd into the ground.

it is a personal opinion though...

i have a problem with the pedals to in lfs and i'm useing v2. didnt post this earlyer because i was uncertain if the pedals wore malfunctioning or its because lfs but now i'm sure. if i hold the gas pedal at half size for example or the break when i'm moveing the indicator just jumps up and down if like my pot is going crazy but the speed is steady and in windows logitech driver when i do the same thing it doesent jump at all. when i am stoped on the other hand this doesent happen anymore. momo wheel, custom build pedals.

well i mentioned in my 1st post that i use 10k pots. before i was useing 100K pots and yes the travel distance was way shorter ..i was only useing half of the pedals travel (on windows controller travel indicator). so 10k pots work best but in my case induce a preaty big deadzone

well the problem ins't resolved but i'm kind of used to it now the pedals are conected through the momo's PCB board but i cant set the distance to be just like on the momo pedals...i tryed dxtweak and dxview but i couldnt tweak anything :P in lfs it is set to lock calibration but its a matter of windows and not lfs. i mean logitech momo thing...with that autocalibration...everytime i plugin the wheel or the adaptor it recalibrates. (so i have to push all axes from min to max. anyway thx all for the help, also the folks over rsc dint found a easy efective solution (btw i made a little movie over there to show the exact problem if u think it will be any help go check it out, thread name si the same).

heh, this is me in the 1st pic. actualy finishing my stint on the 24h moe race at razvan's place :P 2nd. me and my gf and 3d, well... me and the date should explain it :P

that is the art of skinning DrFred...modify save, modify save, until u have a perfect fit. if u want a detaild good skin you have to do this and it will cost you most of the time i was panicd to at first with this, but belive me after a while u get used to it.

i have a full home-made racing sim (except the wheel)witch means h-shifter 6+1 gears with a handbreak and a pair of 3 pedals upside down just like in a real car. acceleration and break is connected to momo racing black wheel and the clutch to another wheel. the problem i have is with the gas and break. i am useing 10k pots just like in momo, wierd just like my momo original pedals. they work great, but its just one problem that is bugging me. there are 2 gaps at each pedal: 1 small gap at the begining of the pedal travel and a big one at the end. the pedal is traveling more then it shows on the screen. of course i ajusted the pedal travel mecanicly but after a recalibration the same thing is happening and its getting smaller and smaller...its just like a default deadzone. i tryed different pot positions (the pots i have travel is about 300degrees witch is long) if i set them to start at the begining, after a recalibration in windows its starting moveing at half of pedal travel, and at the end there is not enough movement in windows. so there is a portion that allows that full travel but implement the gaps too. i made a drawing to try and explain better. hope u can help me out, i dont know what to do anymore.

@Joseracer, Well my problem is that i want and need to minimize to desktop...(for starting/stoping winamp, TS, so on) so i dont think the first option would help. And the second i tryd to change the resolution but not with Shift+, i changed to the lowest...then back to max but didnt helpd (but strangly enough 1 time workd). Although..i wil try the Shift+'s and the Att.

Edit: uh....i went to try the solutions but didnt work i tryd Shift+F9 -640x480 and then Shift+F12 1024x768 but nothing). I installd Ati Tray Tools again...i set it to max qulity...and it did the same nothing changed
Darn, its soooo anoying. Without the aa/as lfs looks like an old game runing on a P II.

uh, i do one a radeon 9600series (256mb) . but i have the latest drivers and before i upgraded i had late dec 06 and it did the same, but this started happening only a week ago when i didnt change nothing (i didnt changed the drivers and then it started happening, i had the drivers for sometime, and one day just did this and didnt stop since then)

I have a big problem with antialising and antistropic. look at the images below. It happens when i minimize lfs to windows and then i bring it back...its like it looses aa and as ... i set the video card to full qulity but i dont understand why its doing this...it didnt do this before. any opinions?

(1st is before i click on some windows task, and second is after i go back in lfs. if u dont see any differance, copy the images and then scroll quick through them: back, forth, back,forth, so on, u will see)
i normaly play fullscreen, where it makes the same thing.

1 thing though....when the servers went down today, we obviously all lost our cars...im just sayng i only have 6000E a uf1 (lost the fxo for xx'th time) and i own allready money to people for same reason...how am i supose to get a better car then a fxo? plus lately although my connection is perfect(100kb/s min) i get timed out more frequent then before...donno whats the prob.

So i donno if it posible but i would really really like a refound for the fxo lost in the power cut...for the others i dont complain.

Black LFS Long Sleeve + website on sleeve fits my likeings...i would seriously consider buying one if they'll make it i like the Polo shirt as well but its more styleis with the white logo! and of course for the sporty look Baseball Shirt / Blue Sleeves + logo rocks.

im a momo user and i've descoverd this thingy myself. if u stay still in N on a plain raod (tarmac) mostly in gtr cars, and if u turn the wheek left to the max then right max left right left right fast enough u will descover there is a point where it looses forcefeedback. its just 10degrees loose wheel, then it comes back again. i dont think its a momo problem....is rather lfs which can't export to much data to the motor

yesterday after my practise (i was kinda nervous and a bit not in my mood) i went on srv2 to drive a bit. (DRIVE (crusie) not race!!) and guess waht ray? obviously ur cruiseing server made me very angree indeed!! allthough is a cruise srv u just cant cruise in it! thats the botom line!! everytime i try some nuklehead comes wrong way and slams me 50meters backwords and afterwords:"sorry!" same in romania the number plate is something like this XY 00 ABC and without spaces its just not looking right i think 9 or 10 would be nice.

yea +1 remove the plates from front/back of gtr car, leave the side of the window though!

and about the colors i think black and red are the most important. the rest is somthing u dont see irl.
