Tomba(FIN) joins Ministry of Speed!
Today Ministry of Speed have successfully recruited Tomba(FIN). Tommi Ylén, from Finland has been previous teams like Kyoto Racing. Tommi is one of the more experienced LFS racers playing the game 4 years now. In real life, he does motocross. Tommi will be wearing MoS T. Ylén racer name. He will be taking part in this years GTAL too hopefully! Wish him the best guys!

Dear drivers,
Please confirm your attendance to the test race. Depending on the confirmations, we may have to hold two. If you don't confirm, you cannot race, no excuses.
The deadline for confirmations will be Monday the 26th and 00:00 BST(Midnight).

R.T. stands for racing team, when I have gotten all sign ups I will be doing up a propper sign up list, including teams etc.

XF GTi Championship - Sign ups open!!

We have opened the sign ups for the 2009 season of the XF GTi Championship!.. The website has been finished now, but has a few errors which need to be fixed. We have our sub forum open now, which you can find here with all the information you should need. Sign ups can be found here. We hope to see your name on the lists!
The event will run on tuesday nights, at 7PM British time, we are also working on getting a stream, but nothing confirmed.
The series will just run the XFG.

we are holding a test race, one week prior to the starting event. We will be running the second track on the calendar which will be South City Classic. The date of the event will be the 27/10/2009 (DD/MM/YYYY)
Your skin's must be posted 2 hours prior to the event start, or else you may not compete.
You will be required to confirm your attendance here sooner to the date.

No driver is permitted to chat unnecessarily during official sessions.
Qualifying:
Qualifying will consist of a 12 minute free running session. This means that all drivers must leave the pitlane when instructed, do as many flying laps as possible. You may telepit(Shift+P) but not spectate(Shift+S) if so, you will start back of the grid.
Start Procedure:
A standing start procedure will take place. Jump starts will result in penalties being issued by Live For Speed automatically in-game.
End of Race Procedure:
Drivers must continue around the track in an orderly fashion, and return to the pitlane. If a driver displays reckless behaviour, it will be dealt with after race.
Rules of Race Craft:
Any racing manoeuvres that are protested will be investigated after the race by the officials.
Whoever is on the racing line, (displayed in LFS by pressing the F4 Key) will have the right of way, and is not at fault if they have at least half of their car in front of the car behind.
A driver may only change direction of defence once, so no swerving going into corners is permitted.
Lapped cars do not have to move out of the attacking car on the lead lap’s way. The lead car is responsible for passing safely, and must respect the lapped car’s driver too. Should the lead car hit the lapped car, a penalty may be issued.
Should a car exit the track by driver error, it should not rejoin until its safe to do so.
Skins:
Skins must comply to the LFSW and XF GTi regulations (no pornographic or offending images)
Skins must have the standardised number board issued by officials, with their number displayed in the any readable font . Teams must have identical skins, with different colour mirrors to tell the drivers apart.
A drivers name and flag must be displayed on the side of the car, underneath the rear side window.
Penalties:
Jump Start – At the discretion of Live for Speed.
Dangerous Driving – Warning initially issued exclusion from events may concur if the accident(s) in question is serious.
Chat in session – Warning (qualifying and practice only) DT penalties will be awarded.
Please note that if an Admin feels the need to issue a penalty not listed here, they reserve the right to do so. And by signing up to the series you agree to respect the admins and their decisions. Exclusion from all events may occur should you choose not to follow this rule.
Drivers naming:
Driver name has to be in white colour and in following form: 00 F.Name

Our calendar has been released on site and here on LFS Forum, so take a look at it. Please check your availability to race in this league before signing up so you aren't a no-show every round.
The league will run every week without a break. We aren't over strict on rules, but the ones we have will be implemented fairly to everyone, you can find all the rules here on the forum.
To sign up please visit it's section here on forum, and you will be required to supply a skin with number plates on it.
