I'm gonna watch both. A1GP imo a really good league. Of course there are racers there that stand above the others. And unknown driver? Dutch driver Jos verstappen use to race Formula 1 ( now Jeroen Bleekemolen is racing A1 for Netherlands ). Not that unknown. People with money join this league. Look at that guy that always spins off and shit, i thought it was pakistan or something. It's hilarious just looking at that guy trying to do a lap.
IMO A1GP better then formula because of the cars more closer to each other and the budget of the team doesn't matter as much as in F1.
Why refer it as a DRIFT mountain course?
There are racers saying here to use it for both parties.
But all i see drifters say: YES GIVE US A DRIFTERS COURSE!!!
That's pretty selfish. ( of course there are expections )
I really dislike the drifters and i'm completly honest about it.
I fully support Ian in his comments but it recently has become a part of the game and we all have to live with it. As just both parties stay at there side i think everyone could get alone.
You can't please everyone so just try to please the general public.
actually i changed it quiet allot ( anti roll bar ) and for me it got better.
This is what i came up with for my 29 lap race.
Only could do 21 laps, qualify was over but i think i'm safe to say that the tires will last does 8 laps also.
If possible, judge the changes and how the tires look. My regular time is around 1.54.8x.
well increasing tire pressure usually helps a little bit. But the key is to be smooth yes indeed but this isn't all where it comes down to. You can still modifiy certain things to get the tires to last longer. I'm gonna do a full stint on the current setup and one i personally think is a set that should last and has some modification made to the tire pressure and camber.
I got both the setup guides right infront of me. I'm trying to build a set by reading them over and over. Searching in the guide for what i exacly want. I decreased anti-roll already and it feels pretty good right now. I just need to fix those tires and it's fine
Now it's a hotlap setup and i need it to last 29 laps.
I tried playing with the camber and tire pressure. I can get it to last longer but the ability to drive it decreases allot. Now how would you guys approach it? try playing more with camber+pressure or try to change something somewhere else. I still wanna maintain a certain oversteer because it decreases. The problem is for me: Where do i have to look at if i want certain things improved/changed?
i'm pretty hot if i say so myself but i can offer my sister?
anyone interested?
But that's the point. I don't get all the stuff that's going on. And if no one is around to explain me how would i be able to learn it. I can keep reading those guides but after reading them several times i still have no idea what i'm doing wenn building a setup.
This is gonna be a silly request actually but i would really appreciate it if someone would wanna help me out with it.
This is my problem: I'm a setup newbie. I really wanna learn how to build and what to edit in a setup to make the car feel better for me and make it faster. I don't understand setup making a whole lot and i have allot of question. Now my real question in this thread is:
Is there anybody around who is experienced in making fast, stable and of course good setups who is willing to share his experience with me. I have been trying to read allot of guide and search the forums but it's just not getting through my thick skull.
If anybody is willing to help me out with this we can might come to a agreement of what i can do back for the person who spended that time with me.
Responding in this thread or leaving me a PM would be enough.

You guys won't get those real cars in the game. LFS isn't based on real cars.
The things what would be a good addition imo:
Truck Racing ( could be cool around certain tracks )
WTCC kinda class ( it will probably be like the current GTR but just not as fast maybe )
Maybe some nascar cars.
That's probably all. I'm not really missing anything. slow down FZR maybe
my regards
Tom
Good Choice Driftstar, i didn't mean to attack you personally. It's just a matter of zillion post without any real content. Maybe i acted a bit to aggressive towards and i apologize for that. I think you made a smart move trying to join another team that is already setup. This will only work the best for you. You can focus more on drifting and stuff what you obviously like and the leaders can work on the team stuff and you can profit from it
Useless thread number #411
In about 7 days, Useless thread number #563 about the same team dieing!
And btw work on that logo please, it's made in Paint....
I just have to post this because i've tryed to make a succesfull post for new teams but everyone is just ignoring it. This is just, well trashing the LFS scene. It has been discussed so many times already but people just ignore it. Make a good team not a team that's made out of small fragile pieces that can fall apart every moment. It's a waste of your own time.
I only make such comments if it doesn't effect me
I think LFS is more finished then that tbh. You can't compare a game to a website. A website can be completed within a month. A game can't
That thread is made for new teams. People can read it and don't do anything with it or take some of the advice that is given. The main reason i gave that comment about the forum is, because you are openly discussion things. Like i said in the Advice for Teams! thread. I'm not saying Moo should read it i was just wondering if you guys had a personal forum.
I was not in anyway trying to attack Moo and i hope to see you guys next IGTC.
Yeah well i'm sure there are more advices to be given so let's just keep this thread running and we will see how it develops and if it's any good maybe the mods decide to makte it sticky
I agree with allot of you guys but i don't think you can stop people from creating team so i think it's best to give them some points to look after. This is all for the best of the LFS Community.
I see so many useless threads about teams getting created and that's the only thing you see. A Thread. There is nothing after that thread. Usually the team accepts every single member that applies and then dies after one week.
@Shibby
No complaints towards your team mate. You have a good website www.fibracing.com !!(Free advertise!!) I have seen in your forum that a certain person ( not gonna name him/her ) got denied from your team. That means your not to greedy for racers. That's how it should be.
Currently Clownpaint is also looking for racers but you don't see us making a post.

We made a more proffesional thread on this forum. It's more comfortable to read and it attracts more attention from viewers.
If anyone has any suggestions about what new teams should think about or get in order first just reply here and i'll put it in post #1.
