Just got back from Exeter, FM3 preordered and luckily (well not really luckily as I have to go pick it up) if you preorder from a store they don't deliver. No biggy as it means I don't have to worry about the posty shouting infront of a bonfire.
It does seem like most the new content is racing cars which is fine as some of them look nice, but they wouldn't be my first choice to go racing with. Light, grippy road cars with under 200bhp keep me amused for hours.

That was quite amusing. Reminds me of a time a friend of mine soaked someone who was on a mobility scooter, drove back past a few times and the amount of water had obviously knackered the scooter as it was sat there for quite some time.

I had to format my Dell a couple of months back and I had to use the Resource CD for the drivers.
I don't know if it's the monitor, but I was able to change my resolution prior to getting the video drivers.
Could it be that the application window isn't maximised so she can't see everything on it? That said, you'd still be able to scroll around.

Would've thought they'd kept it in multiplayer too, seeing as the start of a multiplayer race in FM2 has that little delay with the couple of camera angles, but atleast you still get longer to sort yourself out before the green.
Thumbs up to it not being there though.

The reviews are pretty good. Going to preorder my copy tomorrow from Game (might be a tad more expensive but for those little extras it'll be worth it).
That start thing is a pain in the backside, gives you little to no time to get upto the right revs to get a half decent start. I was hoping there'd be an option to turn it off but I reckon that will have to stay a hope.

Take loads of screenshots (the more screenshots, the smoother it'll look) and put them together with something like Animation Shop or Adobe ImageReady.
Probably other programs out there, but i'd say Animation Shop is the easiest I know of.

Pretty much all the endurance races take about 50-60 minutes. My slow AI driver does them just over 60 minutes.
I'll throw a friends invite over at some point, could always do with someone else to join in the fun.
If your still struggling with applying motion/radial blur on wheels that are at an angle, this might help...

Trust the guy to pick a car that we can all use in the demo. Out of all those cars he could've chose and he picked the Cali. Would've been nice to see some sort of new car (the Cali is new but meh).
All in all, still looking shithot and I can't wait to get my grubby little mits on it!
