AFAIK, the tyres can go over the 'popping heat' in one spot, they only pop when a certain amount of the tyre surface is hot or worn down enough.

Wow, Incredible Machines style game in 3d! I've still got the original game somewhere, unfortunately could never get it to work on recent machines. It was also installed on some PC's at high school, so wasted a fair few IT lessons on that.

You get a percentage used in F12 which updates everytime you cross the finish line. I'm sure you could use some maths to work out the MPG.

Another of my favourites (one which I can never remember the name of) is those little white chocolate buttons with hundreds and thousands on one side.

White chocolate in general is just full of win, especially Milkybar.
