Quote from Velociround :I have the full game and.... well... was it supposed to be scary? If so, then it's a big fail. If it's supposed to show some kind of torture to the characters, then it's win. Graphics are good, it uses physx, and generally speaking it's is a very good game. However, it's not scary. At all. And I'm one of the most scared people in the world lol.

Though I'm stuck in a part where I have to figure out how to disable some bombs... I just couldn't figure it out and stopped playing. Might get back into it later.

I imagine it'll be like Lost:Via Domus. It was such a cheesy game but was one of those games you had to keep playing. Some of the puzzles were quite difficult.

If I ever see the Saw game going cheap somewhere i'll probably pick it up for chuckles. The screenshots did look quite amusing.

As for scary games, the last time i've seen anyone get scared at a game was when my mate was playing Condemned. I'd just traveled 400 miles and had pretty much crashed out in the arm chair. All of a sudden he was screaming like a little girl which woke me up. Bastard.

I didn't mind the first couple, then they just kept bringing them out. I still watch them but they're all just a bit...meh now.

It really makes you wonder what the writer does in his spare time. He's got some pretty sick thoughts to show the world in a series of films.

And I agree with DevilDare. Movies these days...

E: Has anyone seen screenshots for the game? I laughed at it.

Quote from Nathan_French_14 :What?

A.F.A.I.K, T10 will send a message to your FM3 inbox to let you know your able to recieve the car. My question is how will they send a message to my inbox when i haven't played FM3 yet as i've not been at home to play it?

Once you put your VIP content code in, they will then know you've started playing.

To be honest, I completely forgot about those extra cars. Got up today and surprised to see Turn10 gifted some cars, aswell as 2000 credits from someone who bought a logo.

Quote from tristancliffe :For motion picture soundtrack work at the genius level get hold of a compilation of John Williams stuff. The trouble is, people think you like it because it's 'from a film' rather than because it's classical or emotive. Sometimes it is just because it's from a film you liked

I'll try find some stuff by him. And you're probably right about the 'liking it because of the film'. Shawshank is by far my favourite film of all time.

You can't deny it's all good music though.

Turn10 gifted me 3 cars today for doing that 'your top 10 driving songs' thing.

Audi A4 Touring Car with Zune paintjob.

Audi R8 4.2 with some 'nightmare' paintjob on it. Not sure what it's meant to be off.

Mazdaspeed RX8 with a Laguna Seca paintjob.

The only classical music i've listened to properly is from movie soundtracks. Two films in particular that have brilliant classical music, The Shawshank Redemption and Enemy At The Gates.

So i've just read, James Horner (who composed and conducted the music for Enemy At The Gates) has done music for many many films.

I can only really remember those two and if they're anything to go by, the rest must kick arse.

ive never used the pen tool EVER and ive used photoshop for maybe 10 years lol.... its probably easier to use the pen to get nice shapes but i like being complicated

I used to use shapes to make all my skins in the 5-6 years i've been using Photoshop, up until I learnt the pen tool last year. The pen tool is sooo much easier and the results are better too, much smoother. Will never look back, pen tool is the way forward!

Never gets old, not for me anyway.

i think its the most viewed youtube vid as well.

Although i've never seen that video (1 out of 60 odd million, like the lottery huh) but indeed, that tune never gets old. Brilliant cover.

Now listening to: Judas Priest - Turn On Your Light

I just tried again with CamStudio using the lossless codec and it worked a treat.

Thanks David and Shadow. Have a cookie.
Desktop Recorder?

I'm looking for a desktop recorder so I can make a tutorial for Photoshop.

So far i've tried CamStudio and I looked at downloading Gamecam but couldn't find wether it could record my desktop and not just games.

Camstudio worked but when I played back what I had recorded, all the colours were messed up. Tried changing the settings and nothing helped.

So, can anyone recommend any decent desktop recorders? Preferable free.

Before anyone jumps on the bandwagon, i've searched Google and lots came up. Don't want to download every single one to find out they're all shit.

Quote from Dajmin :No I guess not. There's some seriously long seasons in there, and I keep looking at the Event List wondering how long it's going to take to complete them all.

Just a shame that the championships force you to use particular spec cars. The rest of the career mode fits itself around what you enjoy driving, then throws it all out of the window for the championship events.
At least it has a list of cars that you can use that aren't natively in that class but can be used for those events anyway, like my lovely Reventon

Alot of them mean you need a car with a class atleast (for example) B, but you can use anything higher. Defeats the object of a good race, but if you want them done quickly it's an option.

The longest ones so far that i've done (excluding endurance races) are stock small cars (Yaris, Fiat 500, MX5, Mini Cooper JCW) and all the F and E class championships/world tours. They made the races rather long and used long tracks too. Something like 12 laps at New York in a stock Yaris, yaaaawn.

I stopped doing the seasons after the sixth and just went through the event list one by one.

In 5 hours? I've got one section left to complete and it's gonna take atleast another week.
